The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions

Can someone really believe that lying in the name of God is justifiable? Doesn't it go directly against what we are taught not to do? Why then would the religious right try to attack the gay community's integrity, calling for a country-wide ban on marriage for gays, then try to say that WE are attacking THEM?! The hypocracy is utterly amazing to me. We can argue the Bible all day long and trivialize further what Christ commands, but in no way does it take away from His commandment to love your neighbor. There are no exceptions to this rule, and as a martyr He shows us how true that love can be. People need to read the Bible less and live the word more. Until then, try reading Matthew 7:1-5.
